go read number one 1st!!
This book just builds on the first one. Since I believe in past life regressions I love how the author builds this story about that concept. I really loved this new concept that was introduced in the end with the character Pema about what she saw in past/future lives. Can't wait for the third book.
I like the going back to previous lives.It interesting and kept me up late to finish the next and next chapter
I could not put either book down. I missed a lot of sleep sitting up reading all night. I loved the people in the story and can not wait to read the third book!

This book deals with past life regressions and various religions. It was not quite what I expected, but that's okay, the subject matter was interesting.
Some points that bothered me throughout the book I do believe it's just called Interpol, not "the Interpol." Also, the use of American slang was odd, "mute point" should probably have been "moot point" for example. As for the Pope using a crude Italian gesture to thank the Vatican lawyers, I just can't see that happening.
The actual "quest" they were on took detours into past life regressions showing various historical figures which made for an interesting story. I picked this book up without reading Book I and that was probably a mistake, I felt as if I was missing something for a good portion of the story. I would suggest you read the first book before reading this one.
So I got the first book in the trilogy on a freebie download. I have learned that only about 10% of the free downloads are actually readable, so I didn't expect much. Imagine my surprise - these two books, (and yes I had to get the 2nd one as soon as I was done reading the first!), were consistently well written. Also, well researched, and by an author who has a great command of the english language and grammar. What a treat! Can not wait for book 3!!!
